Below are books from the the Bible in Letter form. What I mean by that is, I have put them in paragraph format like how they were written instead of verse format. It is amazing, to me, the difference that it makes when you can just sit and read the letter as it was written and not focus on chapter breaks or verse breaks. I do hope that this will be of benefit to some. – Tom
The top two sections are from the KJV or Authorized Version with no chapter and verse references at all. I used the punctuation that was given by the interpreters as to where each sentence ended and each paragraph ended. The first section is how it is formated regularly but in the next section, I have taken out the italic words which are added words and not in the original.
The third section is the 1587 Geneva version. With this one I did things a little bit different. The books are in paragraph format just like above but with a difference. I DID NOT follow the paragraph separations that were already set up by the interpreters but decided on the separations myself. Sometimes they matched but more often they did not. I also modernized alot of the spelling (i.e., aliue to alive, sayde to said, Iesus to Jesus, etc.) but have left in the ‘eth’. If there are any problems with it, it is my fault. The New Testament is complete but I am currently working on the Old Testament (if the button is clickable then that book is available, if it is not then I have not completed it yet).
