Ephesians 3:16

“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend what the breadth and length and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God”.

Nothing herein speaks to the grandeur or praise of Adam and the earthen vessel which we inhabit but after the inner man, which delights in the law of God, we are strengthened by the power of His Spirit. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is a critical element of the new covenant in which He said, “I will put my Spirit within them”. This power is what causes the children to walk by His faith and to do His will. By faith, Christ dwells in this new heart, which has been washed and cleansed by His blood. Faith is the path that the children walk, of who the world is not worthy, in the subduing of nations, raising of dead and defying all human logic because it is the Faith of the Anointed of God which is imputed unto His children. By this faith we are rooted and grounded in the eternal love of the Father for His own and drawn by Him to Him through the time of our habitation. By this faith we are given to comprehend what the natural man cannot even begin to imagine, that is, the love of Christ which passes all knowledge. Man tries to explain, imitate and counterfeit this love in his striving for perfection but without the power of the Spirit he cannot escape his carnal abode. The child, by faith which is the evidence of the Spirit, is filled with the fullness of God. Just as Jesus of Nazareth was a body created in whom the fullness of the Godhead dwelled bodily, so His children are earth vessels, afore prepared unto glory in whom, Immanuel dwells. Quite mind boggling and wonderfully amazing to think that the God of the universe dwells in the inner man, to the praise of His glory.
