Ezra 3:1 & 2.

“And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem. Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as written in the law of Moses the man of God.”

The historical records will give no praise to the hand of our God in His preordination and performance of all things according to His will, as He caused the wicked King Cyrus to decree the return to the land to build the temple. Nor can logic explain whom the Lord prepared to return with a willing heart or how they built the temple of the Lord. Yet He caused all to come to pass to the exact day so that in the beginning of the seventh month, they all came to Jerusalem as one man. The number seven denotes a completed work as the Lord rested on the seventh day after He finished His work of creation. The seventh month portrays in the type feast, the sounding of the trumpet of God and the Angle with the trumpet of the everlasting gospel of the power of God unto salvation; the covering of His the earthen vessels of His chosen people by the blood of the atonement and the removal of their sin; the gathering together all as one man in the 8 days of the feast of the harvest and the Feast of Fat things and the fact that His people dwell in booths for they are strangers in a foreign land awaiting the time when the body of this death, these earthen vessels, shall be torn off and we shall leave this world of woe. Then shall we be like His and bear the image of the heavenly.

When these chosen people were gathered together, in the city not made with hands, adorn as a bride for Her Husband, then stood Jehovah’s Salvation, the son of Jehovah’s Righteousness with His brethren, whom He has made Kings and Priest unto our God, with He who came forth from the confusion in the victor of God and they built the altar, not made with hands, on which the precious blood of the Lamb was received as the absolute righteous appeasement of God’s law. No help from man. No parts or components from the dust of the earth. Just a FINISHED work by our Lord Jesus Christ.
