Hllside School was originally one of 8 one room schoolhouses used by the settlers in Butler Township in Drums, PA from 1886 to 1942 Property Ownership September 13, 1849; Property willed from Jacob Eroh to Peter and Catherine Eroh November 14, 1886, Sold from Peter and Catherine Eroh to Butler School District August 20, 1942, Sold from Butler School District (Hillside School) to Robert and Emma Bechtloff as 1 Acre with one room frame schoolhouse March 28, 1946, Sold from Robert and Emma Bechtloff to Walter and Margaret Heckrote April 29, 1955, Sold from Walter and Margaret Heckrote to Walter and Betty Jane Bloss |
