Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Skagit River southwest of Corkindale, Washington, just downstream of where the Seattle City Light power lines (seen here) cross the Skagit River. The river here starts to turn from almost due west to southwest. View is from a boat on the river. Location is estimated; I'm not completely confident of the heading, but I believe we have to be looking northeast past the power lines on the right bank (from a map, the turn in they wires at the second pylon has to be be the right bank). Still, not sure what mountains within the North Cascades we are seeing in the distance. See Floating the Skagit River from Marblemount to Rockport for sequence.
