OnLine Bible
This is an excellent help in studying the Bible. Not only is it a completely free download but it is also a completely free program. There are some translations that cost money but the KJV is free along with many others. I highly recommend this program.
The Word
I am currently using the 3.0 version and really like it alot! You also have the option to download a portable version that will work on a thumb-drive and it works excellent as well. I also highly suggest this program.
Scripture 4 All
“The objective of Scripture4all (reads "Scripture for all") is to make the original Scriptures accessible for a broad public by developing tools to bridge the gap between the original Bible texts and Bible translations.” (Taken from the web-site.) This is a FREE Hebrew and Greek Interlinear Bible program for Windows Operating System.
Xiphos
Xiphos (formerly known as GnomeSword) is a Bible study tool written for Linux, UNIX, and Windows using GTK, offering a featureful environment for reading, study, and research using modules from The SWORD Project and elsewhere. It is open-source software, and available free-of-charge to all.
E-Sword
I am not too familiar with this program. But I have used it briefly and it is similar to the OnLine Bible. This program is also free in every respect except for a few translations.
Sword Project
The nice thing about this program is that it is an Open Source program. Essentially what that means is that there are quite a few people or groups working on updating it and making it better all of the time. It also is a free program.
